1. Audience demographics:
Our audience is between 15-30 years old and can be in any social class. However they are more likely to like action and suspense type movies. They are likely to enjoy Netflix, youtube and many other subscription based social networks. It is important to define our target audience in order to reach out to them and get more publicity for the movie. By knowing the target audience we know how to pitch the movie and who is likely to buy tickets to see the movie.
2. Gathering feedback:
It is very important to gather feedback when creating a movie/movie trailer in order to know what the audience would like to see when everything is released. There are many different ways of gathering feedback from your audience for example surveys, polls, questionnaires and interviews. You can also gather feedback from social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, twitter, snapchat and YouTube. My group and I have deiced to ask a few people between the age of 15 and 30 about or trailer and we received some feedback on the shots and what makes sense and what doesn't. Bellow i have created a Piktochart with all of the feedback that we have received and what we have done to over come the issue and make out trailer better.
