Excellent work. Considered, articulate reflection is evident in the genre research into film poster codes and conventions. The poster is unequivocally a pair with the film magazine cover in its electrifying central image. The simplicity of the design sacrifices none of the genre conventions (billing block, film title, strapline, actors, release date) but gains from the focus on the powerful visual of the arresting neon-striped female figure covering her burning eyes and smouldering in hellish fumes, with the intriguing strapline 'the placebo from hell' hinting at the menace of the narrative. This design shows a very high level of photographic skill, imaginative design decisions and excelence in manipulating images in Photoshop, as does the magazine cover.
